What can I say? When it comes to html or anything technical, I'm absolutely clueless! I can barely run my mp3 player! I have been lost without my VHS. Holey Moley what is a person to do? You pay someone to do the work for you!
I have been running a candle business online and locally for 3 years now and I have been wanting to change my website for quite sometime. Well, I'm a member of the Mompack so I decided to ask around there first. I'm so glad I did because I found Amber with Affordable Site Design! She has been so patient with me and very easy to work with. She answered all my questions in a timely manner. Amber responded to all my emails about my concerns with the layout and the use of the forms. Like I said before, I'm clueless so I needed a little bit of attention. ha! She had my lead page and my team members page up and running in only 6 days!

One Group
I recently put together some friendship packages for some long time military friends from my past. The package included samples from other business owners including Kathy with One Group and some miessence hair and body samples.
Kathy sent some really nice samples for my packages so I asked her if I could give the products a try? The samples I tried were desert flower shampoo, shine herbal hair conditioner, and sunflower body wash. Florals are not my favorite scent and if you understand the effects of scents then you will understand why everyone picks certain scents when choosing candles, shampoos, or scented lotions. Smell is irrational. Smell affects us emotionally. When we detect an odor in the air, we decide if we like it before we even identify it. You can be going about your day one moment, and the next moment, be on the verge of tears—all because of a fragrance.
With that in mind, when I opened the desert flower, I wasn't impressed with the scent. However, the shampoo cleaned my hair very well. This was the second shampoo product I had used that was all natural indgredients. I highly recommend using natural products! I had been swimming all day so my skin had that yucky chlorine smell and feeling all over. Although, I didn't like the sunflower much either the body wash left my skin feeling fresh and clean.

Usborne Books
Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw? Do you want your children to grow up reading? The books at Usborne are fun and educational! As a Mom and business owner, I do alot of networking and exchanging of products with other companies. It was my turn to shop from one of my fellow networkers, Stacy Olivas with Usborne Books. My sons birthday was approaching so I thought this would be perfect to add to his gifts.
As I was browsing Stacy's site, I came across this Book "I can draw animals". My first thoughts were, I have always wanted to learn how to draw! I ended up buying the "I can draw people" book along with a horse sticker book and dinosaur sticker book too. I never knew there were so many different kinds of horses! My daughter loves the stickers! My son and I have learned how to draw various types of animals including a lion, rabbit, frog, flamingo, and hen. We aren't even half way through the book. It is amazing what you can learn from putting lines and shapes together.
What I really love is the books are affordable! These drawing books were only $4.99 and I'm getting some use out of them too! If my son continues learning these simple techniques, he may just become the next van gogh. ha!

Party Gals
I have never been much of a girly gal and when I say that I mean the use of makeup, cleansers, replenishing gels and all the extra stuff women use to have beautiful skin and a clear shiny face. I was always in a hurry so it was a shampoo and the good ole fashion bar soap. Well, I'm beginning to age so it is starting to concern me more. Lets just say in a few years, I'll be in those fabulous years!
I received a sample of this sugar scrub and it was just enough for me to want more. Lisa with Party Gals and I decided to do a product swap. I sent her one of my 16oz Candles and she sent me the Sugar Scrub and some Nipple Nibbler. The Nipple Nibbler was for my husband to test on me. lol
The scrub was awesome! I used it on my arms and the front of my legs. I couldn't believe how soft my skin felt after I rinsed it off. The shower drops beaded on my skin like rain does on a newly waxed car. My skin felt like it was 2 years old. I'm becoming more girly as I type. The difference in the front where I used the scrub and back of my legs was just amazing. I'm a new customer of this Pomegranate & Ginger Sugar Scrub!

Arbonne
I have had the pleasure of experiencing 3 of Arbonnes swiss care products including their holiday body butter, FYI body butter, and face concealer.
Arbonne has been in business for 27 years and doesn't do animal testing or incorporate any animal products or by-products into their botanically-based formulas.
If you haven't tried the body butter, you will want to this season. Arbonne introduces a new flavor of body butter every holiday season. I have used the Ginger Citris and Mango in the past and look forward to their new line during the holidays of 2007.
The butter leaves your skin feeling all natural, not to oily feeling or wet. If you have teens or want to try it yourself, Arbonne has a new line called FYI for young individuals. The line includes body wash, body cream, spray fragrance, lip gloss, eye shadows, and a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15. Since I enjoyed the body butter, I gave the body cream a try. Wow, the mysterious smells wonderful and goes on so silky smooth. The mysterious scent is blackberries and pomegranates. They also have flirtatious, scent of grapefruit and mango, and ambitious representing green tea and clover scent.
The third product I tested was the face concealer. Since using their concealer they have changed the packaging of the concealer which I'm assuming is much better. I wasn't impressed with the last container for it was difficult to remove any excess concealer. Other clients must have felt the same so Arbonne improved their product. Something I admire, they listen to the consumer. The concealer itself was wonderful. It was the first time my face didn't feel oily or like I was wearing a mask after applying it.
One can expect to pay a little higher prices for these products. The arbonne product is of excellent quality. You won't find this quality in a discount store or local Walmart.

Mia Bella Gourmet Candle
Since I'm a distributor for Mia Bella, I will be offering my opinions on current scents burned.
I recently burned a Orange Sherbet and Spiced Cranberry 16oz Jar.
Both are delicious!
Mia Bellas burn evenly leaving no wax on the sides of the jar plus they are all natural vegetable waxes. No Black Soot! They contain two cotton wicks and come in a variety of scents, over 90 to choose from at all times.
