Little Snowbird Children's Tea

It is always a pleasure to be able to include my children when I work. My children are all under the age of six so it is sometimes difficult to include them all the time. My oldest enjoys helping dad make scent samples for my candle business. My youngest likes to sniff the candles whenever the new Candle of the Month arrives around the 5th of the month but it is never enough. They always want to do more! With that said, I was so excited to be able to do the review for Little Snowbird Children's Tea. Actually, I should say my children were very excited as they were able to drink some new flavors of tea.

I normally buy the Celestial Seasonings at my local Walmart. These teas do fairly well and come in a variety of flavors that my children love. With Little Snowbird we were able to experience some new and different flavors. We were sent Chocolate Cheesecake, Hot Fudge Sundae, and Strawberry Shortcake samples, one tea bag of each flavor. I was unsure how much one bag would make so I compared with what I normally make with the Celestial Seasonings. My children like Iced Tea so I boiled 2 quarts of water then added the one Strawberry Shortcake tea bag along with the Sugar. We don't use regular sugar but rather the generic sugar like Splenda (Altern). The strength of the tea was perfect and my biggest tea drinker (2 yr old) loved it. My son who is 6 loved it too. My 4 year old could care less but he is the Chocolate milk and juice drinker, rarely drinks tea unless it is all I have available. I normally have to use 2 tea bags with this amount of water with Celestial Seasonings so this tea makes more than my normal brand. This strength was actually stronger than what the children are used too so I decided to take it a little further and make one gallon with the next tea bag, chocolate cheesecake. This batch turned out to be the same strength with one bag as when I use 4 bags of the Celestial Seasonings. They did drink this batch a little slower so a happy median would be somewhere between 2 quarts and a gallon with one tea bag or even using one bag with the 2 quarts.

These teas were for small children but teas for older children and adults are available for purchase along with gift certificates. My children and I were very pleased with the samples we received and I highly recommend others giving Little Snowbird a try. We will be buying in the near future.
